Finance, Facilities and Infrastructure
In terms of financial management, these facilities and infrastructure have agreed on a policy that regulates the division of tasks and responsibilities between study programs and faculties. The study program is responsible for managing the operational budget for the educational process, while the faculty is responsible for procuring and maintaining infrastructure, as well as coordinating budgets for research and community service activities. In an effort to provide facilities and infrastructure that support the smooth implementation of the Tri Dharma-PT, UPPS has invested a sizable budget to complement various institutional needs. A new building (Cakra Vidya Usadha building) has been built to support clinical skills training activities (Clinical Skills Lab) along with mannequins and supporting facilities.
The budget to support the implementation of activities in the study program comes from student tuition fees (UKT/Single Tuition Fee and SPI/Institutional Development Donations), budget from the APBN and other legal sources according to applicable regulations. To support the implementation of activities, every year the study program prepares an annual activity plan along with the required budget (RKAT/Work Plan and Annual Budget). The proposal from the study program was then forwarded by the faculty to the chancellor and then asked for approval and approval from the ministry. Approval from the ministry is then passed on to the study program in the form of POK (Activity Operational Guidelines) which is used as a reference for implementing all annual activity plans and making financial accountability.
Lecture room infrastructure is also regularly updated. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) room has also been expanded and its capacity added to support the implementation of exams, both for block exams and UKMPPD (Physic Professional Program Student Competency Test). The internet bandwidth capacity has also been added so that it is able to support the online learning process during this pandemic. As a research support facility, the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit (LBT) has also been moved to the Cakra Vidya Usadha Building with an expanded capacity. Likewise, library facilities have been equipped with collections, both in the form of hard-copy and soft-copy (digital) collections, the room has been expanded and a new place has been allocated in the Cakra Vidya Usadaha Building.
