Each student is given the opportunity to develop reasoning, interests and talents, as well as develop soft skills. This is done through the establishment of student institutions consisting of BEM, DPM, BP, and LPM which have their respective functions and duties. In addition to LMFK, there is also a Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) which is in charge of certain and semi-autonomous issues under the coordination of the Chair of the FK BEM. The BSO consists of the Janar Duta Medical Assistance Team (TBM), the Hippocratic Scientific Group (KIH), the AIDS Care Student Group (KMPA), the Cancer Care Student Community (Kompak), and the Environmentally Concerned Student Group (KMPL).

There are also associations that move according to their respective study programs, namely: General Medical Student Association (HMKU), Dentistry Student Association (HMKG), Nursing Student Association (HMIK), Public Health Student Association (HMKM), Psychology Student Association , and the Physiotherapy Student Association. All institutions, both LMPK, BSO, and HM, work synergistically with BEM as an executive agency, DPM as a legislative body, LPM/student press institutions, and BP are institutions that are neutral to the organizational role in FK Unud. the line of coordination with BEM as well as for the organizational structure itself is generally almost the same, namely a chairman, deputy, secretary, treasurer, head of field/head of department/head of division, even in BEM there are departmental coordinators, as well as staff from each field/department/division.

Especially in PSSKPD FK Unud, there is the development of interests and talents in the field of sports, such as: interest and talent work programs by BEM on chess, basketball, football, and badminton. In the arts, there are interests and talents in the form of singing, dancing, and photography. Through the program of interest and future BEM FK Unud, there is a collaboration with the HMKU Sport Delegation work program to select prospective delegates who will be contested in sports competitions and e-sports for Medical Faculty students throughout Indonesia. For the scientific field, there are IMO (International Medical Olympiad) and R-IMO (Regional-IMO) activities.

Specifically for HMKU, the organizational structure consists of a chairman, 2 deputy chairpersons (external representatives and internal representatives), the head of the field (consisting of 5 fields: Education and Profession (PENDPRO), Human Resources Development (PSDM), Community Development (PEMMAS), Secretariat , Public Relations, Information and Communication (KHIK), and Member Welfare and Business Funds (KESDANUS).
