Welcoming the new 2021 school year, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is holding an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2021 Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University online for 2 (two) days starting August 18-19 2021.

This event was attended online by all levels of the Dean, Study Program Coordinators, Heads of Departments, Unit Coordinators, and Administrative Coordinators along with Sub-Coordinators at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

The event began with a report from the Chair of the 2021 PKKMB Committee / Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, MSi., Sp.MK(K) who welcomed new students and reported the number of PKKMB participants from all Undergraduate Study Programs, namely 736 new students and 25 old students.

Followed by remarks from the Dean of FK Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT(K) who directly also opened the event, and in his remarks, he expressed his welcome and congratulations on being happy to have become a big family of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and hopes that this PKKMB event can strengthen ties family gathering at the Faculty of Medicine even though it was held online in the midst of a pandemic.

The Dean on this occasion also advised "Even though in the new era of life we ??are separated by distance because we will meet more often online, don't let your enthusiasm for learning decrease!" He said while encouraging the new students.

The implementation of the 2021 Faculty of Medicine PKKMB this time takes the theme "With the Spirit of Nationalism, We Increase the Character and Integrity of Students to Create Competitive and Innovative HR in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the New Era".

The first day of the PKKMB 2021 event was filled with presentations from faculty leaders including:

1. Soft Skill Training Through Student Organizations by Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M. Kes
   2. Governance, Sarpras, and Adjustment of Education Implementation in the Industrial Revolution Era and Post-Pandemic New Life by Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Prof. Dr. dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari, S.Ked., Sp.PK(K)
   3. Academic Culture in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, M.Si., Sp.MK(K)
   4. Character Building and 4 Pillars of Nationality by the Dean of FK Unud Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT(K)

The purpose of holding this event is to introduce, prepare and accelerate new students in the transition process to become students who are aware of their rights and obligations so that they can support the success of their studies in tertiary institutions and to improve student character and integrity.
