Social Service as well as Increasing the Competence of Young Doctors Through Family Planning Services in the Jembrana Region

The Bali Province BKKBN and the Jembrana Regency Family Planning OPD cooperate with the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University to carry out free family planning service social services to increase the number of standardized/competent, affordable and quality family planning and KR service health workers. from public lectures and mannequin practice that had been carried out previously. This social service activity was held in three locations, namely East Loloan Village, Sanggar Agung Village and Yeh Kuning Village, Jembrana Regency with 45 acceptors served in the form of IUD services for 7 people and Implant services for 38 people. This social service activity will be held again on 12 and 18 April 2022.
This event was attended and at the same time opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning of the Faculty of Medicine Unud Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K) who on this occasion represented the Dean of FK Unud. He welcomed the implementation of this activity, which is very important for academics in carrying out the Tridharma of Higher Education, especially in carrying out community service. This activity can also increase the competence of medical students and it is hoped that it will be scheduled regularly and continuously so that it will increase service activities to the community.
"Activities like this will help improve the competence of medical students so that in the future they will be ready to work and serve in society," added Dr. Eka Wiratnaya.
This event was also attended by the Head of the Bali Provincial BKKBN dr. Ni Luh Gede Sukardiasih, M.For., MARS., Head of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning for Jembrana Regency Ni Kade Ari Sugianti, S.Pd., M.Pd., Coordinator of the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program dr. . I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med Ed., Ph. D., East Jembrana Loloan Lurah Ida Bagus Komang Wibawa Manuaba, AP and young doctors who have completed their cycles as many as 80 people and 3 residents of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
